Why quarvexxad
The practical case for written financial analysis.
What you receive from quarvexxad is not advice you will have forgotten by Monday morning. It is a document — one that lasts, that can be shared, and that reflects careful independent thinking about your firm's financial position.

Six things that matter when choosing a consulting firm
Findings delivered in writing
A written document you can share, reference, and retain — not a memory of what was said in a meeting.
Senior practitioners on every file
No junior hand-off after the first session. Your engagement is held by experienced practitioners from start to finish.
Fixed fees, stated before work starts
Three clear prices, three clear scopes. No hourly billing, no escalating invoices, no surprises.
Full confidentiality
Client names and financial details are never disclosed. NDAs available before any information is shared.
Fully independent — no referral fees
We accept no commissions from banks or lenders. Our conclusions are shaped only by what the numbers show.
Local knowledge of the Malaysian market
Practitioners familiar with Perak's business environment, regional banking norms, and the pressures of owner-managed firms.
In More Detail
What each of these means in practice
Professional expertise
Depth of knowledge
Our practitioners have spent careers working with the financial affairs of Malaysian businesses — not as auditors checking for compliance, but as analysts trying to understand what the numbers actually mean for the firm's position and decisions.
That distinction matters. An audit tells you whether the accounts are accurate. Our work tells you whether the capital structure is suited to where the firm is heading, or whether the cash pressure has a particular cause that is worth addressing.
- Experience across manufacturing, trading, and professional services
- Familiarity with Malaysian banking norms and supplier terms
- Specialist knowledge of family business financial dynamics
A clear process
Structure without bureaucracy
Each engagement follows a defined sequence: an initial call to understand the question, a document request covering the financial information we need, the analytical work itself, an internal review, and then delivery of the written note with a follow-up session.
The scope of each step is agreed in advance. Clients know what they will receive, when they will receive it, and at what cost. There are no open-ended engagements that expand over time.
- Fixed steps, clear timelines for each engagement
- Internal peer review before delivery
- Follow-up session included in every engagement
Considered service
Client-first approach
We understand that sharing financial information about your business requires a degree of trust. The initial conversation is unhurried, the questions are purposeful, and nothing is requested that is not genuinely needed for the analysis.
We write for your finance team and for your principals — not for our own records. The note we deliver is meant to be useful to you in the room where decisions are made, not to demonstrate how much work was done.
Clear, fixed fees
Value and pricing
Our three engagements are priced at RM 740, RM 980, and RM 3,250. These are the fees you pay. There is no hourly rate running in the background, no additional charge for the follow-up session, and no invoice that arrives with line items you did not agree to.
The fee is stated before any work begins and is confirmed in writing. If the scope of a particular situation turns out to require something different from what was originally discussed, we will say so before proceeding — not after.
Useful written outcomes
Results that last
The written note we deliver does not expire when the engagement ends. Clients have used our Capital Structure Reviews as the basis for bank refinancing conversations. The Cash Conversation notes have been shared with board members and auditors. The Margin Notes have informed pricing decisions that affected the firm's position in subsequent years.
A written document has a durability that a meeting does not. It can be re-read, shared, and returned to when circumstances change.

What Sets Us Apart
Distinctive features of the quarvexxad approach
Diagnostic before prescriptive
We do not arrive with a pre-formed solution. The Cash Conversation, in particular, is explicitly diagnostic — the purpose is to identify where the friction actually sits, without assuming in advance that restructuring or refinancing is the answer. Often, it is not.
The note as the product
Many consulting engagements produce a relationship as the product, with advice delivered informally over time. At quarvexxad, the written document is the product. It exists after the engagement ends, and its value does not depend on maintaining a relationship with us.
Focused engagements only
We do not offer open-ended retainers. Each engagement has a defined scope and a defined end. This keeps the cost contained, keeps the work focused, and means we never bill for time spent on questions that were not part of what you engaged us to examine.
Plain English throughout
The written notes we produce are written for principals, directors, and owners — not for auditors or regulators. We avoid unnecessary technical language, define terms where precision is needed, and write in a manner that a careful non-specialist can follow without difficulty.
